Sigh, sometimes, I wish I enjoyed school more. I'm always depressed when the weekend is almost over, especially when it was a 4 day weekend. Not only that, a good buddy of mine has been having a really sucky time at home. She's really upset and I haven't seen her in about a week because of this. If I get a chance to see her this week, I don't know what I can say or do to help her feel better.

On a lighter note, I dressed as Edward Cullen from Twilight for Halloween yesterday. It was the scariest thing I could think of at the last minute. Thanks goes to downtownpunk for helping me put the finishing touches on the costume. (Um, if I said I had photos of the costume, would anyone want to see them? >.> )

Now, I want recommendations. I've been trying to put some fancy lighting/coloring/anything effects to my icons, but anytime I follow a tutorial, it either looks absolutely horrible or nothing like it should. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, I just don't know what. Anyone have some tips or good, descriptive tutorials they would to share? I would really appreciate it. The programs I use are Photoshop CS4 and GIMP 2.6.6. c:
